A busy week – The third annual Bloom Burton & Co. Healthcare Investor Conference

This week has been a busy week for Bloom Burton, with the successful completion of our third annual Healthcare Investor Conference and Pre-Venture Symposium. While it may be named the Bloom Burton & Co. Healthcare Investor Conference, our aim each year is to place the great Canadian healthcare and biotechnology companies in the spotlight and give them the chance to tell their stories to the international investment community. This year we had 36 leading companies, as well as 12 of the next-generation Canadian healthcare companies telling a packed audience of Canadian and US investors what it is they do and why they are an important part of a sector that was, until all too recently, overlooked by the vast majority of investors. Canadian healthcare was the second best performing sector across the globe last year and we’re excited to be a part of helping to sustain that interest.
