COVID-19 FAQ

The Bloom Burton Award Gala is back in person again and we can’t wait to safely host everyone at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto on September 29, 2022. For the health and safety of all attendees, the Bloom Burton team is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and will update our guidelines accordingly. Please review the following frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact Anna Jung.

Q: What is your face mask policy?

We will not require face masks for gala attendees as masking indoors is not currently mandated by the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto. However we support those who choose to wear a face mask and encourage wearing a face mask at your discretion and comfort level.

A limited number of extra face masks will be available on site.

Q: Do I need to be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 to attend?

Attendees are not required to provide proof of vaccination to attend this year’s gala. However, if you show Covid-19 symptoms, or have been in close contact with anyone confirmed to have Covid-19 or is showing symptoms, we recommend you test immediately prior to coming to the event and do not attend if you test positive.

A limited number of rapid test kits will be available on-site if you were unable to test prior to your arrival. We reserve the right to request you do not remain at the event should you test positive.

Q: What if I feel ill, show Covid-19 symptoms, or test positive before the event?

If you feel ill, show Covid-19 symptoms, or test positive before the event, please do not attend and instead transfer your ticket to someone else to attend in your place. Please reach out to Anna Jung and inform us of this change beforehand.
