Prasath Pandurangan joined Bloom Burton as an Associate in equity research in March 2017, where he focuses on listed Canadian healthcare companies. He has been working with the equity research team as a consultant since October 2016 when he was instrumental in expanding research coverage in the Canadian specialty pharmaceutical space. Previously, as Senior Research Analyst (Financial Research) with Crisil Global Research & Analytics, he was associated with the #1 ranked (Institutional Investor) global specialty pharmaceuticals team at Alliance Bernstein. Prior to that, he was a credit analyst with Axis Bank where he focused on lending to Indian healthcare companies and hospital projects.
Prasath received his medical training (MBBS) from JIPMER in India, and his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He is also a CFA and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
