Claudia Hui, Director, Investment Banking, joined Bloom Burton as an Analyst in May 2015 and has since taken on increasingly progressive roles. Claudia currently leads the strategic efforts at Bloom Burton in identifying and evaluating promising MedTech companies developing innovative technologies with strong investment potential. She also conducts technical (scientific, clinical) and commercial due diligence and provides strategy consulting and monetization planning for healthcare companies across all sectors and stages of development.
Claudia mentors startups in the CDL Advanced Therapies Stream and served on the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee for AllerGen NCE Inc., the Allergy, Genes and Environment Network, from 2017-2020.
Claudia holds a PhD in Infection and Immunity and a Master of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology, both from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from McGill University.
