Gireesh Seesankar joined Bloom Burton as an Associate in equity research in September 2023 where he is responsible for researching publicly traded healthcare companies. Previously, Gireesh was part of the healthcare equity research team at another Canadian investment dealer and also assisted in managing the VC angel investment network HaloHealth.
Gireesh received his MSc in molecular genetics from the University of Toronto where he focused on studying neurodevelopment disorders using patient derived stem cells. Gireesh completed his Honours Bachelor of Science in molecular biology and genetics at McMaster University.
