Tina is the Chief Legal Officer and Compliance Officer at Bloom Burton. She is a business-oriented lawyer with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Her expertise includes compliance, risk and governance, public markets, intellectual property, product development, commercialization, manufacturing, mergers & acquisitions and international business.
Prior to joining Bloom Burton, Tina was a senior executive at Miravo Healthcare (previously Nuvo Pharmaceuticals Inc.) and Crescita Therapeutics Inc., and worked in private practice providing legal services to pharmaceutical and biotechnologies companies, including start ups, growth phase and mature companies. Tina serves on the Board of Cell Technologies Inc., a clinical stage biotech company focusing on stem cell therapy.
Tina earned a Master of Science from the University of Toronto and completed a law degree from Osgoode Hall. She is licensed to practice law in the province of Ontario and is a registered patent agent in Canada and the United States. In addition, she is a Chartered Director.
